RS2 Technologies offers a complete selection of magnetic stripe, proximity, and biometric readers. All RS2 readers are UL 294 listed, RoHS compliant, and FCC certified, and are suitable for indoor or outdoor mounting. Magnetic Stripe

RS2’s rugged magnetic stripe readers are built to provide years of reliable service in the most demanding access control applications by incorporating high-quality card readers in tough metal housings.

RS2 carries proximity readers from AWID, HID, Integrated Engineering, Farpointe Data, and XceedID.

Wireless

RS2 carries the IR Schlage line of wireless access control solutions, which use reliable “spread spectrum” RF communication technology. These systems are more secure than wired systems, and are quicker and easier to install, resulting in lower installed costs.

RS2 carries the Bioscrypt™ and IR Recognition Systems line of biometric technology products, including finger scanners and hand geometry readers, which simultaneously analyze more than 31,000 points and instantaneously record more than 90 separate measurements of an individual's hand.

Smart Card Readers

RS2 carries the Integrated Engineering, HID, and XceedID lines of smart card readers, which meet ISO 14443 and FIPS (201) requirements and are available with interfaces for a variety of output protocols, including ISO 7811 and RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485

Display Terminals

RS2's Keypad Display Terminals contain a built-in sub-controller, a 16-position keypad, and a reader port. The sub-controller can communicate to an SCP via 2-wire RS-485 or the reader port of an MR-50 or MR-52.
