The RS2 family of access management hardware is built around our SCP and 2g families of processors. The SCP product family serves a wide variety of applications (from relatively small to very large), while the 2g family is the heart of our line of economical access management hardware for the small system market.
The controllers of the SCP family are based on 32-bit microcontrollers, and they are a cost-effective solution for very small to very large systems. All the basic models of the 2g line include support for two card readers without the addition of any additional modules, making them ideal for two-door systems and beyond.
A variety of input/output modules, multiplexers, and communications packages provide almost unparalleled flexibility for system configuration. And, RS2 can combine these hardware components with a variety of options such as enclosures, power supplies, battery backups, and adapter plates into complete system solutions. RS2 also offers a wide range of proximity, magnetic stripe, OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) and biometric card readers and a large selection of proximity and smart cards. |
