RS2 Technologies Announces Major Expansion of Enclosure Line 6/7/2010 Munster, IN – RS2 Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of access control systems, has announced a major expansion of its NCL line of rugged, NEMA approved enclosures. Joining the original 18"(H) x 15"(W) x 4"(D) NCLSM enclosure are these additions to the product line: NCL-12SM The NCL-12SM is a 24"(H) x 18"(W) x 4.5"(D), 110 VAC, direct wire ready, vented, NEMA Type 1 hardware enclosure that will accommodate up to 12 readers with built-in cable management. The NCL-12SM includes a 110 VAC illuminated reset switch/breaker, 6 amp super clean linear power supply and charger, and a switched DC power distribution module with four thermally protected circuit breaker outputs and status LED’s. Also included are a rechargeable lead acid 7.0 Ah (@ 12 VDC) battery, cabinet lock, tamper switch, metal quick reference pocket, and mounting hardware pack for up to 6 access control modules. The NCL-12SM, like all RS2 NCL enclosures, features a cool gray powder coat finish inside and out. NCL-8-SPWSM The NCL-8-SPWSM is a 36"(H) x 24"(W) x 5"(D), 110 VAC, SPW (Semi Pre-Wired), vented, NEMA Type 1 hardware enclosure that is pre-wired for board power, RS485 communications and Door Control for up to four boards (EP-1502, MR-52, MR-16IN & MR-16OUT). The NCL-8-SPWSM includes a 12/24 VDC 20A power supply and charger, an ACM8 door control relay board w/Fire Alarm Interface and a 1" x 3" wire management system with cover. It is field connected by 1.5", 2" and 1/2" knockouts, as installation requires. The door is removable and includes two standard 217 keyway locks with keys, tamper switch, metal quick reference pocket and mounting hardware pack for the access control modules NCL-12-WMSSM The NCL-12-WMSSM is a 36"(H) x 24"(W) x 5"(D) vented, NEMA Type 1 hardware enclosure that is configured for up to six boards (EP-1502, MR-52, MR-16IN & MR-16OUT). It includes a 1" x 3" wire management system with cover and is field connected by 1.5", 2" and 1/2" knockouts, as installation requires. The door is removable and includes two standard 217 keyway locks with keys, tamper switch, metal quick reference pocket and mounting hardware pack for the access control modules
In conjunction with the introduction of its new Access It!® First Step PlusSM System, RS2 is introducing a single board enclosure (SBE) that includes a power supply, battery and transformer. The enclosure will be configured to hold any of the SCP family of hardware boards (EP-1501, EP-1502, EP-2500, MR-50, MR-51E, MR-52, MR-16IN, MR-16OUT & MUX-8). Click here to return to the news list.
